Born blessed as a descendant of an onmyoji, Kikyo has a foot between the physical and spiritual world. Gifted with this gift to see beyond the veil, a young Kikyo accepts training as a Miko. Unfortunately, she never completed it as the invasion began to spread and her attention was diverted in protecting the innocent.Despite all the tribulations and troubles from the past, the loss of her village after the Empire razed it, and becoming a refugee in Hingashi, she strives to push forward and has been taken into a samurai clan, a family who has gifted her with a new surname: Takahashi.Woth this opportunity to start anew, the maiden needed to accept her path and embrace her role of shinigami, keeping the peace between those who cross worlds. During the evening, she is embraced in darkness, associating herself with creatures that others would judge and shun as vile, and unacceptable company, often utilizing them to complete her task.During daylight, she is working with the Doman refugees, not one to forget her roots, in the Enclave. She teaches shamisen, calligraphy, and sign language to the youth that escaped the flames of war..
